There are many related links to the hero's archetype. Since most stories are based around the hero, most other archetypes are tied in with the hero.
Subcategories:
The Mentor- The mentor is often a wise teacher who helps shape the hero into what he has to be to defeat evil. He teaches the hero virtues and what his true strength is.
The Quest- The quest is the adventure that the hero must fortake to defeat evil. The Quest could even be to defeat evil.
The Father-Son Conflict- The conflict is between the hero and the either the father or the son.
The shadow- The shadow is the figure who is the opposite of the hero.(ex. Starwars Luke Skywalker and the emperor, Superman Lex Luther, and Sonic and Shadow the hedgehogs).
